WHO WE ARE
Home Harmony is a compassionate house cleaning service for people with mental health struggles or physical disabilities. We've been helping the community of Richmond and the surrounding counties since 2017.
Each person who works for Home Harmony knows how to really listen to your story and help you come up with solutions that work for your unique situation. Our goal is to create peace and calm in your home where it didn't exist before. Our vision is a world where everyone feels like they belong in their own home, instead of feeling overwhelmed when they walk in the door.
WHAT WE DO
Services
We specialize in crisis management and big project undertakings. Things that will refuel your soul. Community members who live with chronic mental illness such as ADHD, depression, and anxiety find our services extremely valuable, but everyone could benefit from having a little harmony in their home. MY HOUSE IS A DISASTER ZONE
Have you been behind on cleaning for like... a really long time? Maybe you have closets where you shut the door really fast to stop an avalanche from happening. Maybe you have older kids and you never actually got rid of a single toy they ever received. Maybe you’ve been in a downward mental health spiral for years and you’re finally ready to climb out and address your biohazard home. Don’t worry- there is nothing you could possibly show us that we haven’t seen before. Really! We’ve seen some stuff.
Typical packages - One 5 hour kick-off session, followed by weekly or twice-weekly 3 hour sessions
MY BRAIN ISN'T WIRED FOR HOUSEWORK
We get it! We're a group of neurodivergent folx too. Depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, etc, have a habit of really getting in the way of making your home the safe space it should be. You feel depressed because of how bad things are, and the anxiety of actually getting started keeps you from making progress, which in turn makes you feel even more depressed. Or, you have 20 half started projects that never seem to get finished. Or, you look at the state of your home and get totally paralyzed and can't even imagine getting started. It's okay- that's why we started Home Harmony. We want to help you function in your space. All you have to do is be brave enough to ask for help.
Typical packages - Two 2 hour sessions or one three hour session weekly
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO ORGANIZE
Does this sound familiar to you? Too much clutter, not enough storage, and can never find what you need. It can be so frustrating when you've cleaned the same pile of papers off the table for the 100th time, or when you open your closet and can never find what you were looking for. Not to mention all the times you've been late because you can't find where you put your keys! We can help you set up systems that make sense for YOU, not some one-size-fits-all organizational solution.
Typical Packages - One 3 hour session per room
Don't see something that resonates? We are happy to discuss a custom solution for you! We can help with decluttering, general cleaning, deep cleaning, organizing, hauling away donation items, laundry, dishes, etc. Any sort of help you need inside your home is fair-game.
We are eager to provide some relief for your strained or stressed out situation.
**All of our team members are vaccinated against the coronavirus and are more than happy to wear a mask during the appointment if you prefer. Just mention it when scheduling!**
PRICING
For a long time our pricing was not publicly posted. Money is one of those things that can make you feel a million emotions in one transaction. We felt that if we posted the pricing online, we wouldn't be able to get to know you and your needs first.
Our pricing structure allows us to help folx who may need more help than they can afford at the moment. If pricing is ever an issue, let us know and we can talk about it. We want you to know that we're on your side, and helping you have a home that feels safe and comforting is more important than making huge profits at the end of the day.

This pricing applies to our current service area of Richmond City, Chesterfield, Midlothian, and western Henrico. For homes outside of this service area (such as Ashland, Mechanicsville, Powhatan, Chester, Petersburg, and Fredericksburg), availability is not guaranteed - although we always try our best to make it work! A travel fee of $1.00 per mile is applied when traveling outside of our normal service area.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
Your support allows us to pay our staff a living wage, provide service for community members who otherwise couldn't afford it, and also provides us with a means of making a financial difference in the Richmond, VA community through a monthly donation of 10% of our profits.
This month's donation recipient is Side by Side, where they are "Dedicated to creating supportive communities where Virginia’s LGBTQ+ youth can define themselves, belong, and flourish."
