THE TEAM
Melissa Todd
Owner and Founder
she/her
Melissa is the queer mama who started providing empathetic and judgement-free household help to the Richmond, Virginia area in February 2017.
Since then, Home Harmony has grown to support various local mutual aid organizations, provide a living wage for every team member, and offer compassion to community members when there was only shame.
She lives with her partner, their two children, her mother, and a sweet little black cat named Io (like one of the moons of Jupiter).
Christi Jolley
Vice President and Director of Client Communications
she/her
Christi is an amazing soul. Not only does she meet every person with kindness and compassion, but she is quick to roll up her sleeves and jump in the trenches with you as you navigate piles of month-old dishes or buckets of shame and guilt. Christi is Mental Health First Aid certified.
She lives with her four kiddos and two sweet cats, Orko and Kirby, who love joining in on Zoom calls.
What clients are saying:
"I couldn’t be more grateful for Christi, who brought peace and joy into the chaos. We accomplished so much in her first visit, and for the first time in years, I can walk past that guest room without feeling overwhelmed."
Dana Wright
Client Care Specialist
she/her
Dana's eye for organization is like no other. She is able to quickly, efficiently, and respectfully transform cluttered and overwhelming spaces into something functional, organized, and totally customized to your individual needs. Dana is Mental Health First Aid certified.
Outside of her work with Home Harmony, she is the mother of a sweet little girl and she is also a talented florist during wedding season.
What clients are saying:
"Dana was amazing, again. She was very helpful and encouraging, and she had great advice and insight on what to do with my stuff. We made really good progress yesterday! I have a bit of homework to do on my own, but I'll be having her out again in a month or two for another session."
Noah Straus
Client Care Specialist
they/them
Noah has a background in retirement home work, home/building maintenance, and working at a kids’ summer camp. They also have experience providing personal daily assistance to a person with a terminal, disabling illness.
They say “I've struggled with my own mental illness in the past, with depression, anxiety and insomnia. So I know first hand what it is like and how it can affect someone's life.“
What clients are saying:
"Noah came in and spent a total of 5 hours between the garage and my bedroom organizing and helping me walk through things…. With absolutely NO shame. They were engaging and encouraging and it tore down my walls to “present as perfect”."
